The reserve
These are starting points, not a catalog. A chef knife, a folder, a skillet, a board, a wallet, a cooler, the ones I would buy myself. Tell me what you are looking for and I will source it, mark it with your words, and bring it to your door, receipt in the box.
Piece at cost. $65 for everything else: finding it, marking it, bringing it

Steel from Seki and Solingen. A name near the heel, small, where the hand sees it every day.
One maker$430

The pocket knife

2 makers$345 to $490

The skillet
Polished cast iron that gets willed to someone. The family name on the underside.
One maker$285

The cutting board
Hard maple, edge grain, the board that lives on the counter. A name across a corner.
One maker$270

The wallet
Titanium, carbon fiber, leather. Initials, small, in a corner.
One maker$260

The cooler
The cooler that outlives the truck it rides in. The name of the cabin, the boat, the crew.
One maker$390
Also in the room: the pen, the multitool.
Not on the list? Good.
Most of what I source is something a customer named: a particular steel, a watch, a bigger board, a piece from a maker I have not listed, the everyday brands too. Tell me what you are looking for and I will find it. The piece is at cost, what it costs to buy, receipt in the box. The $65 is the fee on top, and it covers finding it, engraving it, and delivering it. A deposit holds the piece before I buy, fully returned if you change your mind before then.
